Information & ResourcesThe Chamber works with local small business owners to provide information on topics such as “How to Write Business Plans” and “Inventory Control”. The office also has contacts and phone numbers of groups who can perform hands-on consulting at little or no cost. (Started in 1995) Small Business WorkshopsIn conjunction with OPED, the Chamber offers workshops on issues that relate to small businesses. The workshops are often free but occasionally require a minimal charge. (Started in 1994) Financial Information ContactsThe Chamber can assist small business owners or individuals with start up plans with contacts through SBA lenders or business and industry loan programs for capital infusion. The Chamber has an endless supply of technical support regarding financial information, including the University of Little Rock Small Business Administration. |
