Welcoming Committee/AmbassadorsThe Chamber Ambassadors serve as a welcoming committee for local events and ribbon cuttings upon request. They greet people attending and thank them for visiting our area. The Chamber also provides speakers at events to extend a welcome to guests on behalf of the area. (Started in 1998) Grant WritingThe Chamber works with groups in the community to write grants which work towards community development goals. The nature of assistance varies but can include research, writing and implementation depending on the type of grant sought.
